Archenemy est une variante dite casual de Magic: The Gathering. Dans cette variante multi joueurs un des joueurs incarne l'Archenemy (Nicol Bolas dans ce coffret) et les autres joueurs jouent tous contre lui. L'archenemy commence la partie avec 40 points de vie et dispose d'un deck de cartes de machination lui donnant des pouvoirs supplémentaires pour lutter contre les autres adversaires.

Il est possible d'utiliser d'autres decks que ceux fournis ainsi que les cartes de machination sorties dans l'édition 2010 de Archenemy.
